The Nebraska Spring Classic (formerly the Kohl's American Cup) is hosted by the Nebraska State Soccer Association and will be hosted at Tranquility Soccer Complex and other locations, as needed in the Omaha area. The Nebraska Spring Classic provides recreational youth soccer players an opportunity to experience a consistent and high-quality statewide tournament in a fun, festival-like atmosphere. It fosters stimulation and excitement about soccer in an effort to increase the recreational players' interest in and love for the game.

The Nebraska Spring Classic is open to ENSA, CYSL and in-house leagues and lower teams in the U11 - U15 age groups and any division at U9-U10 age Groups.

Nebraska League and Nebraska Soccer League (NSL) teams WILL NOT be allowed to compete.   The Nebraska Spring Classic provides RECREATIONAL teams an opportunity to participate in a statewide tournament!

U9 - U10 teams will compete in a festival format with each team playing three games with no finals. U11 - U15 teams will play a three game round robin format with finals.

Participation awards will be giving to everyone at the U9 and U10 age groups. Individual awards to 1st and 2nd place will be given to U11-U15 age groups. Play will be governed by the FIFA Laws of the Game, except where amended by US Youth Soccer Rules of Play, and/or the Tournament Rule. Overtime and shoot-outs will be used only as necessary in semi-final and final matches. Overtime will not have a half-time.

Games shall be considered complete if one-half of the game has been completed and the Tournament Director stops play. Teams will be refunded $20.00 per game not completed for U9 - U10 age groups and $40.00 per game at U11-U15 age groups.
